How do invoices and payments work?

Invoices bill customers for shipments or services. Create an invoice with its line items; the totals and tax are calculated for you. Send it to the customer, who can view it from their portal. Record payments against invoices as they come in — full or partial. The invoice tracks how much is paid and what remains, and flags overdue invoices. All figures are kept in the company's currency.
