How do I control the public front page?

The public front page is the tracking/landing page that visitors see without signing in. You control its content and appearance from the site settings area. You can set the company branding (logo, colours), the slogan/wordmark, and the language behaviour. Visitors can track shipments and reach the public-facing features you expose. For look-and-feel that applies across the admin and public areas, use the Appearance and Brand Studio settings — they drive the theme tokens (colours, fonts, loading animation) used throughout.
